4 Days Kidepo Flying Safari

The 1,440km Kidepo National park offers vistas of rocky outcrops and huge, sweeping horizons. As you fly over the mountains hemming the park, harsh semi-desert scrub suddenly gives way to improbable lush river valleys, crossed by small streams and wetlands. There are two distinct eco-systems, broadly centred around the Narus and Kidepo Rivers. Elephants, Buffalo, Zebra, Bushbuck, Ugandan Kob, Rothchild’s Giraffe, Lions, Leopard and Cheetah are frequently seen in the park and the birding is excellent (over 475 species). The feeling that you get when you visit this park is surreal… almost as if it were the Land that Time Forgot.

Day 1: Fly to Kidepo National Park

We take a charter flight to Kidepo.

Game drives and game walks in one of Uganda’s most spectacular protected areas.
