3 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari

This 3 Days Safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. A short excellent budget wildlife tour – Hike to the top of the falls, visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, go for chimpanzee trekking in Budongo and enjoy game viewing in the park. Best recommended for those with limited time and want to experience nature of the Murchison falls and Africa wildlife.

TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1: Kampala & Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Kampala, head off to Murchison falls National park via Masindi   with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for lunch and a nature walk  to meet one of the Big five. After a rest of the lunch break proceed to the park arriving late afternoon with an evening game drive before enjoying meals and comfort at your lodge of residence. Overnight at Paara safari lodge, Murchison River lodge, Sambiya river lodge.

Day 2: Game drives and Boat Cruise on the Might Falls

Wake up ready to have a cup of tea/coffee and snack before heading out in search of Murchison wildlife including Giraffes, lions, elephants, kobs, topis, Buffaloes and many others. You guide will always give you details of several animals you come across and birds  and will always advise on where to allocate your favorite. After lunch head out for another fantastic park adventure on Murchison mighty falls which ends with a simple hike to the top of the fall to grab more remarkable views and sceneries. The afternoon boat cruise starts at 2.00pm time after lunch ,so be ready to enjoy an optional evening game drive after the days heat  before returning  back to your lodge for delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:

After Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest and breakfast head back to Kampala with a drop off at your hotel of residence. However, if flying out home on this day, would recommend late evening flights.
